Your weight trend, not the scale's mood

Two pounds up on Monday means almost nothing. The trend over weeks means almost everything.

Your weight swings 1–2 kg (2–4 lb) from day to day. Weekfuel shows your weight trend, goal weight and projected goal date instead.

In short

Body weight often swings by 1–2 kg (2–4 lb) from one day to the next because of water, salt, carbs and digestion. That's why Weekfuel shows your weight trend instead of single readings – along with your goal weight and a projected goal date.

How it works

You log your weight in the app, ideally in the morning under similar conditions. Weekfuel smooths out the noise and shows where things are really heading.

From your trend and goal weight, the app estimates when you'll likely reach your goal. The date adjusts as your pace changes.

Why the scale lies after the weekend

Salty food, more carbs and late dinners make your body hold on to water. Each gram of stored carbohydrate (glycogen) binds roughly three grams of water. So a Monday spike is mostly water, not fat. More in why you weigh more after the weekend.

Goal weight

Always in view, never in your face.

Goal date

A realistic estimate that adapts to your pace.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I weigh myself?

Several weigh-ins a week give you a meaningful trend, ideally first thing in the morning. If daily weighing stresses you out, weigh less often – the trend still works.

Does Weekfuel import my weight from Apple Health?

No. You enter your weight directly in Weekfuel. The app only reads steps from Apple Health.

How accurate is the goal date?

It's a projection from your trend so far. The longer you track, the steadier it gets.
